KinoKlass immerses you in the world of cinema and invites you to look at the world, human relationships, and art in a new way. To meet other fans of the visual arts and make new friends.

A team of professionals working in the field of cinema and television will introduce you to the main components of the film language and give you the opportunity to make your first attempts as a cameraman, actor, sound engineer, artist, editor, screenwriter. You will attend an actor's casting and choose locations for photos. KinoKlas Teen graduates will create a short feature film that will be shown on a big screen in a real movie theater.

Class content and components:

KinoKlas Teen takes place within 9 months - from October 2024 to July 2025 and consists of 5 main modules.

Module I. Introduction to Cinema – you will get acquainted with the basics of cinema as an art, with the basis of the history of world cinema. We will lay the foundation of the class.

Module II. Dramaturgy and cinema process – you will learn what dramaturgy and conflict are, you will write an author's text and, together with the teacher and the other participants in the class, you will create your own short feature film script.

In parallel, through a series of practical tasks, you will get to know the other components of the film language - directing, cinematography, scenography, acting, sound, editing.

At the end of this module, when the script of the future film of the class is ready, the main positions in the team will be chosen. Each student will state what they want to participate in – cameraman, editor, scenographer... You will be able to defend your choice and show what you expect to contribute to the film.

Module III. Preparation for filming – you will do your own casting, you will learn how to choose photo locations, how to prepare a shooting program

Module IV. Photographic process – here we will do rehearsals, photos and analysis of the shooting process.

Module V. Post-production - under the guidance of the teachers, the film will be completed - the picture will be edited, the sound will be processed.

KinoKlas Teen will end at the end of May with a projection on a big screen.
