KinoKlass immerses you in the world of cinema and invites you to see the world, human relationships, and art from a fresh perspective — to connect with other visual arts enthusiasts and make new friends.

A team of cinema and television professionals will introduce you to the key elements of film language and give you the chance to make your first attempts as a camera operator, actor, sound engineer, artist, editor, or screenwriter. You will participate in an actor’s casting and select locations for filming. KinoKlas Teen graduates will create a short feature film that will be screened on the big screen in a real movie theater.

KinoKlas Teen is held once a week for 4 astronomical hours - every Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00, in the period September 2025 - July 2026. The program includes 5 main modules.

Module I. Introduction to Cinema - you will be introduced to the basics of cinema as an art form and to the foundations of world cinema history. This session will set the groundwork for the rest of the class.

Module II. Dramaturgy and cinema process - you will learn about dramaturgy and conflict, write an authorial text, and, together with the teacher and your classmates, develop your own short feature film script

You will explore dramaturgy and conflict, create your own text, and work with the teacher and classmates to develop a short feature film script.

At the end of this module, once the class’s film script is complete, the main team roles will be assigned. Each student will indicate the role they wish to take on — camera operator, editor, set designer, and so on. You will have the opportunity to present your choice and explain what you hope to contribute to the film.

Module III. Preparation for filming - you will conduct your own casting, learn how to select filming locations, and prepare a shooting schedule.

Module IV. Filming process – here we will do rehearsals, photos and analysis of the shooting process.

Module V. Post-production - under the guidance of the teachers, the film will be completed - the material and the sound will be edited.

KinoKlas Teen will end at the end of May with a projection on a big screen.
